Another month goes by since my last post.

Heres the last months worth of works (done in the past week actually.)

The paintings “attack” “tigstress” and “tactical” are all speedpaintings completed in around an hour each “Dunes” took around 3 hours and is more of a study of composition of landscapes, “Quoyle” was inspired by a side story in the novel ” the shipping news” by annie prolux and “mo” is a portrait of my first girlfriend, which took roughly 5 hours

as usual, crits and comments are quite useful,

Innocence

Realising that majority of my work revolves around darker more sinister Themes, I decided that I should by my hand at drawing the embodiment g Innocence. : Children!

A difficult task that took well over 10 hours, I’m quite proud of this one.

This one was completed in just over 14 hours, I think it probably could do with more work but I left it a little simple.

The pose was based upon a composition from www.3dtotal.com, by the name of “beast”

I wish I could take full credit for the work but unfortunately as I said, based upon someone elses work

None the less I’m actually quite proud of this one!

Another Work done in 2 hours, Felt inspired to do some more natural lighting for once, testing wet ground, afternoon sun and internal lights.

A work inspired by a piece of concept art from the upcoming game, Fable 2

In retrospect, the more I look at this, the worse it gets, Now I see it as nothing more than an uninspired cartoonalike.

My art seems to be taking major steps backward. -(ed)

Unfinished Business

A few (as far as I’m concerned) incomplete artworks here today. I’ve found that as I’ve got no set goals right now, my art has been left on strings. I cant seem to finish anything!

Anyway, here’s a look at what I’ve got in store. Some are touched up at the last minute to look good, others are left semi finished

Sailing To Europe

My first work back from Europe, This one generally outlines my feelings at the time of creation. These feelings are represented through; the sailing metaphore because I feel that I did not entirely earn my last trip, the brighter skies and greener grass metaphor for my current stress levels here and the sun setting, generally a metaphor for a new start.

Yet another Art-Rageous piece of work, Completed in about 10 hours. I’m still not entirely happy with it but this is as far as I’m willing to go with it.

Not the most positive picture I’ve ever drawn but I needed to do something a little angsty.
